Archie Sutter Watt, RSW, SSA, (1915-2005)

A founding member of the Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival, Archie Sutter Watt was a practising artist and teacher in Dumfries & Galloway for over 50 years. His watercolour paintings, mono-prints and etchings show his unique interpretation of the Galloway landscape with other studies of favourite subjects, including flowers and birds.

Archie opened the Rockcliffe Gallery with an exhibition of work by Richard Demarco and Terry Ann Newman, 25th May 2002.
