Dumfries and Galloway is one of the easiest parts of Scotland to reach, coming from England and Wales by road through Carlisle, cross the border and you are there!

Rockcliffe Art Gallery is just a 3 hour drive from Manchester or Leeds, and six hours from London.

You can fly into Edinburgh, Glasgow or Prestwick and drive down to us in less than 2 hours.

Or you can come by rail to Dumfries.

From Northern Ireland you can take the ferry to Stranraer from Belfast or to Cairnryan from Larne. The crossing is shorter than the English crossing and there are more than 20 sailings a day, including high speed catamarans.
